OUR MISSION

Family Without Borders empowers locals to glorify the Lord, among unreached people's, taking in consideration the whole being; mind, body and soul, without prejudice against culture, language, color, nationality or region.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to develop the community with a heart for Christ, equipping locals to become self-sustainable with skills that transcend generations for the peoples of the Amazon (Brazil, Colombia, Peru).
OUR STORY
With 40 years of ministry through Missions, founder's Wilson and Lori Kannenberg http://wilsonandlori.com have responded to God's will by planting 37 churches in the past 11 years, both in Peru and Brazil. This was made possible through church planting mission trips and through international partnership and faithful prayers. However, this is just the beginning, there are still hundreds of remote river villages and Indian tribes throughout the Amazon where there is no church. This is our primary ministry, to tell them about the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
Through God’s direction, pastors have been chosen to lead each church. Through the leadership of Wilson Kannenberg, seminary training is organized to help equip each pastor with the word of God, and to ensure each pastor is empowered to evangelize, disciple, and minister to people in the remote river communities. These pastors are expected to have their church become a “mother church” (as Wilson puts it), while discipling other leaders within their congregation to help reach out to the 2000 or so people in their surrounding river communities with the message of Jesus Christ! Our goal is to reach out to others in surrounding villages through house visits, Bible studies and “preaching points" so that someday those villages will be viable for implementing a Christian church.
